8500 Trees Planted in Bangalore | CVSP Miyawaki Forest by CATCH Foundation In partnership with Gokaldas Exports under their CSR initiative, the CATCH Foundation is leading the plantation of 8,500 native trees in Bangalore using the CVSP Miyawaki method. This dense urban forest is designed to: - Boost local biodiversity by reintroducing diverse native species - Act as a carbon sink, contributing to climate resilience in the city - Strengthen community well-being by enhancing green cover and ecological balance CATCH Foundation is responsible not just for the plantation but also for the complete maintenance and ecological nurturing of the forest for 3 years, ensuring the project matures into a thriving, self-sustaining ecosystem.

Growing trees is one of the best way to tackle climate change and make our surrounding healthier and better.
Carbon Captured
1 tree captures 25 kg of carbon in a year. Our dense forest with 8500 trees can capture over 2,12,500 kg in a year.
Employment generated
On an avg. one forest site gives employment to 120 people for 3 years. Till now we have provided employment to X people with all sites.
Soil Displacement
1 grown tree prevents 15,000 litre of water from washing away. Forest directly improves ground water recharge of city.
Oxygen supply
1 tree captures 25 kg of carbon in a year. Our dense forest with 8500 trees can capture over 2,12,500 kg in a year.
