KADI -CERA
The CATCH Foundation initiated the KADI-CERA project to transform barren land in Kadi, Gujarat, into a thriving Miyawaki dense forest. This endeavor, supported by CERA Sanitaryware Limited as part of their CSR initiative, involved the implementation of the कैच वन संरक्षण प्रणाली by the CATCH Foundation team. Over the course of three years, they will plant and maintain the forest. This dense forest will offer numerous environmental benefits to the local community and foster significant social change.

Project Impact
Growing trees is one of the best way to tackle climate change and make our surrounding healthier and better.
Carbon Captured
1 tree captures 25 kg of carbon in a year. Our dense forest with 12000 trees can capture over 3,00,000 kg in a year.
Employment generated
On an avg. one forest site gives employment to 120 people for 3 years. Till now we have provided employment to X people with all sites.
Soil Displacement
1 grown tree prevents 15,000 litre of water from washing away. Forest directly improves ground water recharge of city.

From people around the area
A few days ago, I visited the Chevron Dense Forest of CATCH Foundation. There I heard the sound of different birds and I was very happy to hear it. This dense forest was very beautiful and dense. Here, instead of the bustle of the city, the bustle of the birds was more and more attractive.
