Sanand GIDC roadside-Coca Cola
The CATCH Foundation initiated a project in Sanand with the aim of transforming barren land into a thriving Miyawaki dense forest. This project in Sanand received support from Coca Cola as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The CATCH Foundation team implemented the "कैच वन संरक्षण प्रणाली" (Catch Van Sanrakshan Pranali) to plant and maintain the Sanand forest for a period of three years.

1 tree captures 25 kg of carbon in a year. Our dense forest with null trees can capture over 0 kg in a year.

1 grown tree prevents 15,000 litre of water from washing away. Forest directly improves ground water recharge of city.

My interaction with CATCH foundation started long back in 2019 when Bharat Bhai and his team came to our society for an awareness programme and we all family members had attended the 1/2 hour meeting. Something really connected with in our entire family and we immediately started volunteering for the NGO. Fastforward 2023 we together have achieved various milestone for the foundation and it has become a part of our daily routine. I wish catch foundation team a very successful years ahead and keep adding value to the society.
