Thane Mumbai
CATCH Foundation embarked on a transformative initiative in Thane Mumbai aimed at converting barren land into a thriving Miyawaki dense forest. This ambitious project received support from Supporting Organization under their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The dedicated team at CATCH Foundation implemented the 'कैच वन संरक्षण प्रणाली' (CATCH Forest Conservation System) to plant and maintain the Thane Mumbai site for a period of three years.

Project Impact
Growing trees is one of the best way to tackle climate change and make our surrounding healthier and better.
Carbon Captured
1 tree captures 25 kg of carbon in a year. Our dense forest with 2000 trees can capture over 50,000 kg in a year.
Oxygen supply
1 tree captures 25 kg of carbon in a year. Our dense forest with 2000 trees can capture over 50,000 kg in a year.
Temperature control
1 grown tree prevents 15,000 litre of water from washing away. Forest directly improves ground water recharge of city.

From people around the area
A few days ago, I visited the Chevron Dense Forest of CATCH Foundation. There I heard the sound of different birds and I was very happy to hear it. This dense forest was very beautiful and dense. Here, instead of the bustle of the city, the bustle of the birds was more and more attractive.
