Ahmedabad, Gujarat
CATCH Foundation has initiated a project called "Visat Tapovan" with the goal of transforming barren land into a flourishing Miyawaki dense forest. The project at Visat Tapovan has received support from the AMC (presumably a corporate entity) as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The CATCH Foundation team has implemented the "कैच वन संरक्षण प्रणाली" (Catch Van Conservation System) to plant and maintain Visat Tapovan for a period of three years.

Project Impact
Growing trees is one of the best way to tackle climate change and make our surrounding healthier and better.
Carbon Captured
1 tree captures 25 kg of carbon in a year. Our dense forest with 7,938 trees can capture over 1,98,450 kg in a year.
Oxygen supply
1 tree captures 25 kg of carbon in a year. Our dense forest with 7,938 trees can capture over 1,98,450 kg in a year.
Water conservation
1 grown tree prevents 15,000 litre of water from washing away. Forest directly improves ground water recharge of city.

From people around the area
A few days ago, I visited the Chevron Dense Forest of CATCH Foundation. There I heard the sound of different birds and I was very happy to hear it. This dense forest was very beautiful and dense. Here, instead of the bustle of the city, the bustle of the birds was more and more attractive.
